I started my career in professional photography in 1995 and am proud to offer the best in creative photographic imagery. For many years I had a studio in downtown Salem, Oregon but for the past couple of years I've been working out of my home in Keizer. I still do studio photography for my business, boudoir and madonna clients, but my true love is outdoor or on-location photography. I've always felt that it's pretty hard to improve on nature for natural beauty and beautiful light, and even in my studio I use only natural light.

Early on in my career I used to compete fairly regularly in Professional Photographers of Oregon and have won the following awards through their print competitions: 1998 Court of Honor for "A Moment to Kiss", 1998 "Best New Photographer", 2001 Court of Honor for "Sweet Pea" and 2001 "Best Social Candid" for "Guardian of the Rings". In addition to Professional Photographers of Oregon, I've also been a member of Portland Metropolitan Photographers Association, Professional Photographers of America and Wedding and Portrait Photographers International.

To keep up with contemporary trends and techniques in the industry, I have attended many educational seminars and workshops, including one with world-reknowned photographer, Jay Maisel, at the Santa Fe Workshops in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Please take a look through my galleries. I hope you enjoy the images as much as I loved taking them!

The following is an endorsement from my 13-year-old daughter, Claire.
Mom's studio is really cool and she takes great pictures. She has won many prizes and awards and is in high demand all over the world! (okay...maybe not the whole world, but locally!) So book an appointment with her because she is outstanding. She does everything like family and senior portraits!(Take a lookie, they are pretty awesome.) But she takes even better pictures outside of her studio. Photography from the heart, man, nothing better than that! ~ Claire !
